    • Hi Patricia! Thank you for the nomination! Sorry it’s taken me so long to get round to making my post, but it will be going up today 🙂 Have a great day.

  1. I love me a good travel blog… and yours is definitely one! Thanks, again, for visiting my blog! xx

  2. Hi Caitlin, nice to meet you. I did a ‘like’ on your post about Torres del Paine – did you go there or is it on your list? If on your list I can really recommend it. It really is as beautiful as the photos make it look.
Thanks for following our blog. I hope you enjoy the stories of our journey, both inner and outer.
Have fun in Oregon, a beautiful part of the world. We’re just to the north of you in Vancouver.
    Cheers, Alison

    • Hi, thanks for visiting! I’ve not been to Torres del Paine but I’m desperate to visit Chile, and to go there. I’m glad you recommend it!
I left Oregon almost two years now, but I had an amazing time and miss it everyday. I also loved Vancouver when I took a couple of trips there – posted about here: https://headoutwest.wordpress.com/2014/04/06/vancouver-b-c/
Thanks again for stopping by x

  3. Thank you for following our blog! We are excited that you did as it has now brought us to yours 🙂
It’s a lovely blog and we simply LOVE finding other bloggers to connect with. Happy travels!!

    • Thank you for the sweet message, and for following my blog! I look forward to reading about more of your adventures 🙂

    • Thanks Anna! Glad I stumbled upon your blog, and thanks for following! Hope you enjoy it 🙂 x

  4. I love your blog. I did a lot of exploring in my younger years, but now, can’t go very far physically. Your blog takes me on adventures I love once again. I wish you the best of luck in your work as an English teacher. More than any other subject, Your work frees young minds and gives them the skills that can take them on their own adventures. The proper use of our language struggles to maintain coherency. You will help tremendously through those you teach and through your own good works. Thank you for the follow at Willy Nilly, it was like an invitation to visit you as well and find a new and great adventure. Some of us old dogs still enjoy learning. I look forward to learning here, from you. 🙂

    • Ah, I’m so glad you’ve enjoyed my posts so far. Being a teacher is very challenging but so rewarding. I am hoping to combine teaching with my love of travel in the future by working abroad so…we’ll see what is to come!

    • Thanks Heather! I’ve visited before but on a family holiday so I am hoping to explore even more this time around! Thanks for following me, great blog x

  5. Head Out West, I could not agree more ~ great blog, and hope you venture even further West from Oregon (until you hit HK/China) ~ another great spot. Cheers!

  6. I must say that Chile and New Zealand is somewhere I want to go as well. Where in Peru for 3 months this year and it was awesome I must say. Norway, it s close but I have almost never been there. Only a short trip a town called Röros, somewhere in the middle. Norway has the Fjordar (do not know the English word there) and the mountains. Must be amazing.

    • Yes! I saw a good route around the fjords of Norway called ‘Norway in a Nutshell’ that was inspiring me to plan a trip! It would also be incredible to see the Northern Lights there. Thanks for stopping by Katarina!

  7. Hi Caitlin! Thanks for stopping by our little travel blog. I love yours too! I love that you are writing about some places in the US. We plan to do a road trip this summer and Crater Lake looks beautiful! Happy travels and happy writing!
